Raiding Obama’s air-raid comments

Here’s what Barack Obama said during a townhall meeting in 2007:

“We’ve got to get the job done there and that requires us to have enough troops so that we’re not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous pressure over there,” Obama said of the U.S. mission in Afghanistan.

More to come on this including a press conference with Iraq War veteran Ryan Aument of East Hempfield Township and U.S. Rep. Joe Pitts and a look at who killed more Afghanistan civilians in the first eight months of 2007, insurgents or American-led Western forces.
