Palin and Roe v. Wade

October 1st, 2008 8:00 pm · 0 comments

This has been making a lot of noise lately:

Here’s what I want to highlight. Palin says, “As mayor, and then as governor and even as a Vice President, if I’m so privileged to serve, wouldn’t be in a position of changing those things but in supporting the law of the land as it reads today.”

As I understand Palin’s comment, she would support a Supreme Court’s ruling even if she disagreed with it.

Does that mean she’s willing to uphold Roe V. Wade since that is the “law of the land?”

Or am I engaging in “Gotcha Journalism?”

Just wondering …
