CNN is reporting John McCain has plans for big rallies the day after the Democratic National Coronation Convention next week when Barack Obama will address 60,000 people inside a pro football stadium.
CNN says McCain hopes to draw 15,000 out in Ohio, but plans are also in the works for Pennsylvania. The Nest is staying vigilant to find out if by Pennsylvania they mean central Pennsylvania or nearby.
Oh, and there’s been speculation that McCain will announce his veep pick on this day to stop any bump Obama might receive in the polls following the convention.
Update: Take this for what it’s worth, but I just got an e-mail from McCain spokesman Paul Lindsay who said “no comment” about the CNN report. That’s not a denial.
Anybody want to give me odds that if McCain’s going to hold a rally in Pennsylvania after Obama’s nomination that McCain will go to a Philly ‘burb? Of is the Lehigh Valley more likely?
