According to the Press of Atlantic City, former Barnstormers pitcher Matt Scheuing has signed with the Atlantic City Surf. Scheuing made 26 starts for the Barnstormers in 2006 — finishing 6-6 with a 5.29 ERA. The lefty, who graduated from Penn Manor High, pitched for the Road Warriors last season.

Williams makes debut

Clyde Williams made his first appearance for Potros de Tijuana Friday night. The former Barnstormer played first base and batted sixth.
Williams went 1-for-3 and hit a solo home run off starter Andres Meza in the fifth inning. The homer produced what proved to be the winning run in Tijuana’s 2-1 victory against Pericos de Puebla.
