‘My dreams got shattered’

Quincy Foster (Tom Amico / Lancaster Newspapers)

“It was a shot to me. I’ve been playing professionally for 11 years and I had been to 10 spring trainings. This is the first time I’d ever been released.”

There’s a column in today’s New Era about Quincy Foster. The Barnstormers outfielder discusses his time with the Giants and his return to Lancaster.

The disappointment definitely hasn’t changed Foster. He’s the same energetic, fun-loving guy he was during his first tour of duty with the Barnstormers.
